University College of Science Library

The Library and Information Center of University College of Science was established along with the College, it started functioning from the year 1940. The Library is located in the centre of the College premises for the easy access. The library has adopted an open access approach right from the beginning.

The collection of the Library is rich and diverse, especially in terms of breadth and depth of coverage in the areas of Life sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences and Computer Science and is growing at a very fast pace to match the changing needs of the students and staff of the college. It has a collection of over 45,000 which include Books, Reference Books CD’s & DVD’S, Back volumes, Magazines, Project reports of the M.Sc. students and other reading Materials. Library subscribes 31 periodicals in the various fields of Science and Technology.

A small collection of books is marked as “Reference”. They include the Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Atlases and some of the reference text books in the disciplines and are to be used only in the library. Some of the reference works are available in CDs & DVDs.

The Library offers services such as Table of Contents Service for journals subscribed, Reference Services, Referral Service, Inter Library Loan, Current content services, Circulation Service including Weekly display of recent additions of periodicals and books, Photocopy service etc.

Appointment of Co-ordination for Anti-ragging Cell

Applications are invited in a prescribed format for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (1 No.) in the Department of Studies and Research in Chemistry, University College of Science, Tumkur University, under the research project entitled “Design and development of iron-based heterogeneous catalysts for applications in organic syntheses” sponsored by DST-SERB, New Delhi.

"ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯ್ ದಿವಸ್" ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಪದವಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು.

ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ಸೆಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು "ಪ್ರೇರಣಾ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ" ಮತ್ತು "ನಾಗರೀಕ ಸೇವಾ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ" ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು.

ಬಿ.ವಿ.ಎ ಪದವಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ಕರಡು ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು.

ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾಸಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಸರಣಿ-7 (Monthly Research Lecture Series-7) ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು.

ತುಮಕೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು.

ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಪದವಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ಕರಡು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು.

ತುಮಕೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ Walk in drive ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು.

2023-24 ನೇ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಲಿನ 2024 ರ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್/ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ಮಾಹೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಪದವಿಗಳ ಎರಡು, ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮತ್ತು ಆರನೇ ಸೆಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ NEP ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ UUCMS ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶದ ಮೂಲಕ ಎರಡು, ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮತ್ತು ಆರನೇ ಸೆಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ (ನವೀನ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರಕ) ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಪಾವತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದಿನಾಂಕ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು.

2024 ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್/ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ಮಾಹೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಮತ್ತು ತೃತೀಯ (ನವೀನ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರಕ ಹಾಗೂ 2018-19ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಧಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ) ಸೆಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ಉತ್ತರ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳ ಚಾಲೆಂಜ್ ಮರುಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು.
