To create opportunities for multidisciplinary education, training and research in biotechnology

To create excellent infrastructure and knowledge ecosystem for real-time teaching, learning and research in frontier areas of biotechnology

To innovate, incubate and nurture biotechnological solutions for the nation’s most complex scientific problems like: Climate change, environmental degradation, agricultural productivity, infectious diseases and alternative energy.
